min. connects to your email and calendar so it can be useful about your actual life. That only works if you trust it with the connection, so here is exactly what happens to your data — in plain terms, and short enough to read.

We never train on your data. Not our models, not anyone else’s.

We never sell or share it. Not to advertisers, data brokers, or partners.

We never sell your phone number or use it for marketing. It exists so min. can text you and you can text back.

We don’t keep copies of your emails. We keep what we learn from them.

What we store

When you connect an account, min. keeps a short profile built from what it finds there: facts about you, and structured details like appointments, subscriptions and plans. It also keeps your conversations with min., so it remembers what you have already discussed.

We do not store the contents of your emails. Message bodies, attachments and full text are never saved to our systems.

Disconnect an account and min. stops reading it. Delete your account and everything we hold about you goes with it.

How min. uses AI

min. is an AI assistant, so providing it means sending your data to a model.

  • Content from your email and calendar is sent to our AI provider in order to provide the service. It is processed on our behalf, under contract, and is not used to train their models.
  • We do not use your data to develop, improve or train any generalized AI or machine-learning model — ours or a third party’s.
  • No human at min. reads your email. We do not review message content, except in narrow cases: if you send us something for support, if we must investigate abuse or a security incident, or if the law requires it.
  • min. can be wrong. It infers things, and an inference is a guess. Check anything that matters before you act on it.

Google user data

min.’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request the narrowest scopes that make the product work, and we use Google data only to provide and improve the features you can see. We do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide those features (our AI provider and infrastructure, described here), for security, or where the law requires it. We never use it for advertising, and we never sell it.

You can revoke min.’s access at any time from your Google account permissions page, or by disconnecting the account inside min.

Text messages (SMS)

min. is an AI life companion you talk to by text. Messages come from +1 (415) 629-3650.

Opt-in. You opt in to receive SMS text messages from min. in one of two ways: by texting +1 (415) 629-3650 yourself, or by submitting a form on this site where you enter your mobile number and check the consent box. Consent is never pre-checked and is never a condition of anything else. By submitting the form you agree to receive SMS messages from min. at the number provided. Consent is one-to-one: it covers your own number only, and it is never shared, sold, forwarded to a third party, or implied. The full step-by-step is on the opt-in page.

What we send. Account and sign-in codes you asked for, replies to messages you send min., and the occasional check-in about your own calendar, inbox or to-do list. Conversational — no marketing, no promotions, no third-party advertising, ever.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and the messages stop. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@withmin.ai.

We will not share or sell your mobile information for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. We never sell your phone number, never rent it, and never pass it to advertisers or data brokers. It is shared only with the text-messaging provider that carries the messages on our behalf, which cannot use it for anything else.

Who else touches your data

Only the providers min. needs in order to run: a database and sign-in provider, a hosting provider, an AI model provider, a text-messaging provider, and whichever mail and calendar provider you chose to connect. Each is bound by contract to process your data only on our instructions and for no other purpose, and none may use it for their own ends. Nobody else receives your data, for any reason, at any price.

Security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to your own account. Credentials for the accounts you connect are held server-side and are never exposed to your browser.

Your choices

  • Disconnect a mailbox or calendar whenever you like — min. stops reading it immediately.
  • Unlink your phone, or text STOP.
  • Ask us to delete your account and we delete everything, including the distilled profile.
  • Ask what we hold about you and we will tell you.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects what we do with your data, we will tell you before it takes effect. The promises at the top are not the kind of thing we intend to change.
